I have a fusion in my neck, which means I don't have full movement, so sometimes backing up can be difficult. I bought this camera looking for something low cost, that I could install myself. (I know pretty much nothing about this kind of stuff)
However, the camera comes with a little diagram that was easy enough to figure out. It does NOT come with any adhesive option for the camera, only the monitor. (I had seen the photo above in the listing that looked like it could be stuck on.) I used double sided mounting foam and had no issue sticking it to my car. (Not sure how long that will last but we'll see.) Then simply ran the wires through the trunk to the back seat, along the floorboard/doors to the dash, along the dash to the spot you can see the monitor. I have a Ford Focus so there was PLENTY of length in that wire and I actually ended up tucking a little bundle behind the flooring under the foot well.
There are settings on the monitor you can mess with such as contrast, tone, brightness. The only one that seemed to change anything was the brightness. Also there is no option for flipping the monitor view although it states that in the listing.
Overall it's a decent enough picture. I wouldn't rely on it at night but during the day it'll do a great job for a backup cam that was less than $30.

TL;DR easy to install even for someone with no experience. Seems to work great for the price. Not as many monitor options as claimed.

Update-the camera stopped communicating with the phone. Poor product. Picture is a bit grainy also for it being 2023.
This little camera mounted easily to the licence plate frame. Seems to works well. We use it on the back of an RV. It definitely helps me see what's behind me. I leave it on the entire trip. It's a good little camera.

I was in the market for something to keep me from getting in and out of my truck when I am hitching up to my camper and other utility trailers. The directions were simple and the install was easy. A great price to make the annoying job of lining up the hitch easy! In life you look for things that make everyday tasks easy and this camera set does that. The price was right and the results were outstanding. Make the purchase, you won't be disappointed.

I needed a simple backup camera for my van - when I saw this one I was skeptical because it was so inexpensive but decided to give it a try. Don’t expect a lot of explicit instructions - you won’t need them anyway. The unit was very easy to install and wire. The aspect and picture quality are exactly what you should expect for a system costing under thirty bucks but it is more than adequate.

I did not order this camera to use as a back up camera. Most newer cars already have them installed. I ordered this camera as a front bumper camera. I have a 3/4 ton four wheel drive pickup. The trucks sits extremly high and is hard to park sometimes, trying to make sure you have pulled far enough forward without hitting something. Camera was easy to install, just plug and play, the wires are long enough to reach almost anywhere you want to mount it. Simple push of a button to turn the camera on/off. Picture quality is good, no problem setting what's out there. My wife wants me to order another to put in the interior of the car. She wants to aim the camera at the babies car seat so she can see him while traveling without turning around. I held the camera up in the car to see how it would look. Very good picture and reasonably priced for a "baby camera" or back up/forward facing camera.

I have been searching for a back up camera to use in my truck but I didn't want to spend a ton of money. This has been perfect for me. It was very easy to install and I got it up and running within 10 minutes. I did use a piece of thick double sided tape on my dashboard to hold it in place instead of the strip it comes with. It comes with an adhesive strip but I wanted extra security that it would stay in place. It has different settings to adjust the picture quality on the screen. It's a good size, not to big and bulky where it would get in the way. Overall, I'm happy with this and definitely recommend if you're looking for a backup camera.

I previously gave this product one star because I was only sent the monitor but the seller has excellent customer service and they sent me the monitor, plus the camera, with no hassles. I installed everything and I would have given 5 stars, but decided not to because of two things:
#1 it’s nearly impossible to get the lines in the correct position. There’s not much adjustment you can do once it’s installed, so you have to make sure that you remember where your car actually is compared to the lines (this means that if anyone else tried backing my car up, they might actually hit something because they’re not used to it).
#2 the adhesive for the monitor’s base fell off after only a few days making the monitor fall down. I think I’ll have to drill a small hole and put a screw in to make sure it stays, because the base is not designed well to hold any kind of adhesive.

I thought I was buying both the camera and monitor. The product sent was ONLY the monitor. I would say the title and product info is misleading.
