Works great just want I needed to help with hooking up to my fifth wheel camper. I can not see the gooseneck ball from the drivers seat.

We purchased 3 cameras for our 5th wheel. We didn't want to screw holes into the fiberglass walls. They great work. We had to purchase sticker magnets so they can hold. The magnets on these cameras are SUPER STRONG and heavy. The held up during our trip very well. I didn't give it 5 stars because we installed one camera on each side of the 5th wheel, and one in the rear. It has option to change the orientation of the camera, but it was very limited in options and had to work with what it gave us (looking at both images upside-down).

I have looked at a few backup cameras but the thoughts of running wires from the front to the back of my van is just not that appealing to me :). So the nice thing about this backup camera is that I do not have worry about running any wires to the back camera at all. It's not only wireless but it comes with a small solar panel to extend the battery life as well as a very strong magnet for mounting the camera easily and quickly too, just stick it on any metal surface and go :). The magnet is very strong so I am not too worry about the camera falling off while driving. The solar panel is decent as a good secondary power source to prolong the battery life mainly. It's not meant to be used as the main power source so keep that in mind. I mean it does help and extend the battery life after a full charged using the included USB-C cable. It also depends on the environment as well, the more Sunlight there is, the better it is for charging the battery when not in use. So I have been using the USB-C charging cable to charge this camera now for the last 6-7 hours, but the Blue battery indicator LEDs would not turn solid, maybe it's by design or something, so I unplugged the charging cable and I got 4 solid Blue bars indicating that it was 100%, so that was a little strange since the Manual states that it will take 6 hours only for a complete charge, so now I know :). After that, I was able to do a quick test to see the picture quality and all. I have attached a couple of pictures showing the difference between day and night times picture quality, both are quite good to me personally. The nighttime infra-red lights does kick in automatically when the light is low. The backing guidelines can be turned On or Off easily using the buttons up top of the LED display. You can also use these buttons to adjust the brightness, toggle between cameras, split screen, and other settings also through the Menu. So do read the User's Guide to get started, but most of the settings are quite intuitive. A 32GB Micro_SD card is also included to record activities that can expanded to 128GB or you can set the Over-write setting in the Menu to over-write previous recordings when it's full. Starting and Stopping recording is not automatic, you will have to press and hold the "+" button for 3s, and you can set the length of each recording with 1, 3 or 5 minutes in the Menu by the way. The Camera and Monitor came pre-Paired so they should work immediately once turned ON, but if not, just follow the Menuon the screen to Pair them again if necessary. The monitor stand has a decent suction cup and lock, just make sure that the dashboard or surface is smooth, flat and free of dust before applying, and it should stay on stronger. I had mine stuck to the windshield and it sticks quite strong, not fallen off yet, just wet the suction cup a little if needed to get a better grip. Overall, I am happy with the quality of this backup camera, the main thing for me was not having to run any wires which makes it easy for me to move it between vehicles too. Easy to setup and use, good battery life with 9600 mAh as well as Solar backup, LED Monitor is not too small, but would be nice to have a the Monitor rechargeable as well or an APP so I can view it on my Phone instead, but not a big deal. Hope this helps!

When I powered this thing up I was immediately impression by the HD picture. It has a very wide angle and back up guide lines. I was unsure about the magnet on the cam but having put it on I was no longer unsure. It has a very tight grip, one that I can be sure it won't fall off from a bumpy road. The other thing that I noticed was a red dot flashing. It seems like as soon as you turn it on it starts recording. I couldn't find how to delete these recordings or turn the recording feature off but I have not read through the manual. For me the setting functions on the monitor are not as intuitive as I would like. But anyone could plug it in and use it right away with no problems. You can always take out the mini SD card and download all the recordings or delete them. The solar panel starts charging as soon as the sun light hit it. But the cool part is you can charge the cam via C-port when needed.
I'm pretty sure one could use this as a dash cam if they were so inclined.
If I had to buy this I think I would get the two cam model.
The only thing I cannot comment on is the level of glitch. I have not taken this for a trip to gauge if there are any glitches during normal extended operations. However, I'm confident that I could use this as a backup cam or a dash cam, or even a spy cam of sorts and get a great HD recording not to mention the great HDef view on the monitor.
One feature they could add the monitor is a built in port to send the picture to another larger monitor.
