I normally would wait a while before writing any kind of a review for an item I buy myself, but this one couldn’t wait. I have been searching for a solution for my SUV with the big T on front. The car has built-in cameras that show the sides and rear of the vehicle on the central screen. I have been looking at a product to give me a front camera, but everything requires wiring to have power and connection. I figured to give this one a try since it’s wireless, and it uses the sun to charge. Right away between the distance from the cabin and the vehicle to the front of the vehicle, the connection was perfect. The screen is clear, and it is charging by just being outside. The only wire I need is to power the small touchscreen, but it’s powered by USB. I am so happy that I found a product that works, and actually solves a problem I have. Having a big nose on the vehicle, having that missing camera is now solved. Will keep the review updated if anything changes. But, I don’t think it will, since it seems well built. Definitely recommend this if you need a front or rear camera with no wires. It even comes with a suction to put in the front.

This solar wireless reverse license plate camera is pretty good. I installed it on my trailer and it is great to use. It is charged by solar power when I drive my trailer. I only charge it when I use it the first time. Today is the fourth day I use it and it is no need to charge again. it will charged by solar power. so it is convenient for me. The 1080P HD monitor image is also very clear. The 5-inch monitor is supported to see the backup assistance line, it is really helpful for me. It is very convenient, I will recommend it to my friends.

Poor instructions. Could not get it to charge. Will have to return it.

Those of us with older cars that refuse to buy new ones just to get a backup camera have to rely on these type of backup cameras. This is my third one and I hope it lasts longer than the others. Quality and ease of installation are great. It fit well on my licence plate using just the top screws. I used a weighted, rubberized dash thing to stick the viewing screen on. It comes on whenever I start the car, so you don't have to push any buttons unless you want to turn it on for other reasons. The problem I had with other cameras (not this manufacturer) was that the batteries just stopped charging after 18 months. I don't know if they got wet or what happened. This new model is supposed to have better waterproofing. We'll see.

Awesome backup camera. It’s so easy to setup. Camera is powered by solar panel and the monitor is connected to the cigarette lighter. No other wire connection needed. I really love the simplicity of setting up. The camera video is clear and stable in both daylight and night time. Beside the power button on the monitor to turn on and off the monitor/camera, you can also use the switch on the cigarette lighter connector, which I think it’s easier.

Have been wanting to buy a backup camera for my car but installing it would be a headache. The amount of wires would just not make it worth it.

Thats when I stumbled upon solar panel backup cameras, needless to say I’m happy with my discovery. It’s been so far so good. Never delays or has connection issues. I’ve been using it for 7 days now and so far I’m enjoying it. I’d like to see over time how it continues to function. But as of now it’s been good to me.
