Having an older model car (2014) I was really starting to miss having Apple CarPlay after driving my family car. I had wanted to get OEM screen installed however this was crazy expensive and not worth it in my opinion, and that’s when I came across this portable CarPlay. After just about months use I can say I’m quite impressed for the price. It came out of the box basically ready to use. I stuck it on the dash, connected my Bluetooth and it was ready to go. I have only had 1 instance in the past month where I had to turn it off physically and back on to get my phone to connect otherwise it’s worked like a breeze. The inbuilt speakers are meh, but I’ve figured it out that it will only help with CarPlay aspect (maps etc) while my phone will use my car Bluetooth for audio. I had a backup camera already on my vehicle so can’t speak to that aspect of installation and quality but think it’s a great option for even older vehicles that want this set up. Overall it’s worth getting if you plan on holding onto your car for a bit and want the Apple CarPlay function!

I’m very surprised and pleased with how easy it was to install this car play adapter. Once, I turn on the car, it automatically connects to my phone. It’s a nice upgrade for my car.
