The New 2024 Living Vehicle Travel Trailer
For people who want the luxury of an off-grid home, yet still want to spend months on the road, the newest design from the award-winning Living Vehicle is a dream come true.
The LV 2024 just might be the ultimate four-season home on wheels. Nothing is missing for full-time luxurious living in their two models: the Living Vehicle HD and the LT.
What is the Living Vehicle?
Like a combination between a home and an RV, this travel trailer has everything for high-class living. The Living Vehicle features a stunning interior with a full living space and chef’s kitchen, a king-size suite with an optional washer/dryer, a spa-like bathroom with a shower, and even a patio deck that folds back up into the trailer.
The trailer was designed to be specifically used in remote environments where services and RV park hookups are not to be found. In addition, it’s a four-season camper that can handle both freezing and hot temperatures with its mini-split HVAC system and temperature-controlled basement for all electrical and plumbing lines.
The Living Vehicle company created its own stand-alone and fully integrated electrical system that runs everything from the fridge and electric roller blinds to the washer and dryer. It even has a proprietary water generation unit called the Watergen that makes water from the air.
Go off-grid in the HD Model
The HD Model can run for three to seven days off the grid with the 4,000 Wh bank of lithium batteries and the 2,000-watt inverter. The Living Vehicle’s expanding roof expands out to provide 600 watts of solar. The LT Model has an extra 800 Wh of lithium and can actually charge an electric vehicle.
The electrical system keeps the Living Vehicle running, but it also keeps the inhabitants and the vehicle safe. The water system includes an app-based WiFi air purifier and monitoring system, as well as a UV water treatment and filtration system. The high-end toilet is macerating with an electric flush and also comes with a bidet.
The bathroom really stands out with its sauna-style wood paneling, rain head shower, macerating toilet, and skylight above it all. While the electrical and plumbing are above par in this trailer, the clean European interior styling is akin to a world-class resort.
Interior features
The interior is not like your average RV. The Living Vehicle offers black walnut wood and mill finish aluminum throughout all the rooms. Anyone inside the kitchen/dining space can experience the full outdoors with oversized windows, skylights, and an eight-foot sliding glass door.
Other livable features include a lounge that converts into a queen bed and a bedroom that easily converts into a mobile office. The kitchen features a movable kitchen island, a three-burner cooktop, a convection oven/microwave, and a dishwasher. Even with all these amenities, storage is not overlooked. There is overhead and pantry storage in the kitchen, shelving in the living space, a full bedroom closet, and a rear garage.
Don’t worry about your pets. Living Vehicle is also very accommodating for both cats and dogs. The flooring and cushions are waterproof and durable, and there is dedicated space for food and water bowls.
There are a few features that elevate the Living Vehicle to more of a house. These include the folding patio, the remote security package, and Starlink satellite compatibility right out of the box.
Other great features
Okay, let’s talk about that amazing patio. It comes standard with every Living Vehicle and can hold up to 1,500 lbs. The netting enclosure protects pets and children. The patio lowers up and down with the push of a button and receives shade from the solar awning.
The HD Model can sleep up to eight people with the Euroloft installed. This is an option that adds a bunk bed above the dinette. With the push of a button, the bed can raise for additional headroom. The master bedroom can be configured in several arrangements including a walkaround king or queen bed, a queen bed with Euroloft bed, two twin beds, or as a mobile office.
However, if you are looking for that one extra bedroom, keep an eye out the upcoming GT Series. This Living Vehicle features a fifth wheel gooseneck hitch and another king-size bed area. The GT Series starts at $349,995.
To tow the Living Vehicle, you will need a tow vehicle that can handle at least 16,000 lbs. The company recommends a truck with a 20,000 lb. capacity such as the Dodge RAM 3500, Ford F350, or Silverado 3500.
Now, with all of these amazing amenities, this house on wheels does not come cheap. The 2024 Living Vehicle starts at about $400,000 depending on options. Some models in the Living Vehicle inventory range from $500,000 to nearly $740,000. The company does offer an upgrade and trade-in program as well as various warranties.
