Looking for a replacement for the failed backup camera system (DIFFERENT manufacturer & distributor) I chose the LeeKooLuu LK5 HD 960P Digital package because of its features and price point. I am used to the 7-inch display and will accept nothing smaller. I wanted wireless and digital and I want it all for under $125 US. This camera system fits my needs perfectly. The box came with everything I needed for easy installation. It even came with a quick connect splitter used to power both monitor and camera for testing prior to installation. When I powered up the test I found the camera was already paired to the monitor. My rig consists of a 25-foot trailer and 1500 size pickup. The camera and monitor are about 40-feet apart. The color picture is clear and stable while driving at highway speed. The camera is mounted with the Furion adaptor and connected to the taillight wiring (I use my headlights anytime I am moving) thus enabling the camera to function as a rear-view mirror while driving. The monitor came with two methods for mounting in the cab. I chose to not use either as I do not want screw holes or double-sided tape on my dash. I tried the window suction cup but do not like it. It takes up too much windshield real estate for my liking. I simply use two rubber bands to attach it to my mirror!

Excellent value. Similar systems priced anywhere from $150 average to over $500 for Furion
Ease of installation. All connectors & brackets provided. Instruction clear and concise.
Large 7-inch display.
Digital system provides a stable and clear picture. MUCH better than analog.
Cons: Picture quality is 960 P and a tiny bit grainy or rough at the edges of objects in the monitor. In fairness to the product, it functions perfectly. I just wish now that I had spent the extra $20 1080 P version.

Update to previous review. After using this unit for almost a year, the screen went blank. Sent a note to the seller. Immediate feedback. They confirmed a few questions, then shipped out a replacement. Now back up and working like a charm.

Hey. It is a decent cam for the money, but several short-comings hinder my rating. First off, I purchased this as a ready-made fit for Furrion Pre-install Mounting Kit (FOS48T-BL/FOC12TA-BL) on my Reflection 367BHS.

My bad. Should have read the docs, but had just finished looking at at different unit that did specify a fit to my system. Thought I was doing a big save on cost. By not selecting the right fit for my pre-install, I ended up putting two hours into the install of this unit plus had to cut some of the pre-install fittings.

Does that make the eeKooLuu HD Digital Wireless Backup Camera 7”Monitor Highway Observation System a bad product. NO. Everything on this unit works as it should. I only mention the pre-install problem so that people who are looking for a quick, simple plug-n-go solution do not make the same mistake I made.

Pros…
— Nice image
— Good distance — Our camper is 40′ plus and then add on the length of the tail-to-dash in the pickup.
— Easy connect, but not ideal for the Furrion Pre-install Mounting system.
— Simple control system
— Comes pre-paired to the included cam.

Cons…
— Thoughtless location of the antennas. Both the cam and the monitor have the antenna mounts on the rear of the units. Not think about that… Rear mounts mean that at least one inch of antenna sticks out to hinder placement and mounting. If buying again, I would have searched out a top mount system.
— Random flickering on some of the startup testing. Hope this is not an indication of future problems.
— Not a match for the Furrion Pre-install Mounting system. Finally got around the problem by mounting the cam on top of the pre-install casing and then dropping a short exposed wire down and through the front of the pre-install. Final product looks neat and professional. Not sure that just any camper can work out the details of such a fitting.

All in all, for now, and I haven’t really had the unit on the road, this cam works like a decent, low-cost solution to my backup needs.

I purchased this to use on my travel trailer. It is the second LeeKooLuu product I have purchased, the first was a backup camera for my truck.

This camera system gets the job done with good video quality and a bright display. I am very happy with it, especially with the price! It was easy to set up and install. The included Furrion adapter worked perfectly.
