Pros
– Sync. I have on the back of a 31 foot trailer & crew cab truck. It syncs up within 2 seconds and gives a good feed even at 70mph.
– Picture. While it says 720 HD, it’s a clearer picture than another vendor’s 1080 HD setup I tried.
– Software. Very straight forward h easy to use. I found many of the cameras use a similar screen & software, but compared to the 1st other vendor’s, this was better. I liked being able to control brightness & which camera gets the sound from the front panel without having to go into the menu.
– Sound is very sensitive & reasonable quality.
– SD card for recording is easily accessible click style. The other system I tried I had to use a screwdriver to get to the SD Card slot.
– It came with much of the camera has bracket already setup. The other vendor I tried I had to figure out how to assemble all the parts.
– Mounting. I found I could use a magnetic mount for the screen in the truck, then easily grab it & put in the camper to use for surveillance. It didn’t mount on the Furion bracket like I hoped as it pointed down too far, but I found a way to make it work by removing the angled Furion mount but left the waterproofed base pad.
– Power requirement. The camera states 10V-32V. My system was putting out 12.8 and the 1st system from another vendor didn’t work… wouldn’t sync up more than 20 feet. Haloview works great at about 55ft.
-Support. I was out 11 months from install & the infrared went out. They had a replacement to swap out sent to me in 2 days. Regular concise & engaged emails worked better than many phone support techs tried to their corporate support scripts.
Cons:
– It didn’t mount on my Furion bracket like I hoped as it pointed down too far, and the antenna didn’t stick upright, but I found a way to make it work by removing the angled Furion mount but left the waterproofed base pad and used their extended mount bracket. They were helpful in finding the right bracket.

I got the rear view and side view cameras, and am very pleased with them. The picture clarity is incredible, and the installation was fairly easy. Plan on using the old gasket if your trailer is prewired, and buy the adapter kit. Plan on using silicon calking to seal it. I cut the old gasket to fit the adapter bracket. If you have problems with the camera connecting, check the polarity (they are polarity sensitive).
The cameras are well made, work great in day or night mode, and have great field of view. I now have 3 cameras and may get the fourth for the truck to see the hitch when hooking up the trailer.
I have already recommended them to a couple of friends.
*** Update: I had problems with the monitor rebooting every three minutes. I sent a message to support, and was very pleased with the results. I received a new replacement monitor in a couple of days, and got it installed in my truck and synced with the cameras a couple of days later. Not only is the product great, but the support is fantastic.

We installed this system in our Super C RV to monitor our cargo trailer. The RV already had a back up camera but we wanted something we could use behind the entire rig. RV is 38 feet Long towing 16 foot car trailer. We mounted the camera at the top of the rear doors of cargo trailer and took power from the running lights. (The parking lights must be on for the camera to operate). It works great. Perfect picture quality in motion. We like the microphone when we are backing in tight campgrounds. No more yelling and arm waving. The biggest con is the menu screen. It’s just very clunky design and requires clicking through multiple steps to make adjustments. But, once you’re set they way you like it, you’re done. Seems to me, they could really improve that part, hence the 4 stars.
Like many report here, syncing the camera may take you multiple tries. But, it will sync. Be patient, use a small pin on reset button, and it should start up fine.
After using this Trailer camera on several long trips, we decided to add the side view camera to the RV itself. We mounted them on the outside of our huge side mirrors. Wow! The side cameras totally eliminate blind spots. The side range of view covers multiple lanes. Really nice on those awful 4 and 6 lane interstate roads when you need to watch for idiots trying to squeeze in between big rigs. We mounted them by drilling into metal mirror frame and pulled power from the harness inside the mirror. There is a running light built into the mirror housing. Since the mirror housing and the camera housing are both black, it is a very well blended look. The extra power line we just coiled back inside the mirror as originally designed. For ease of repair we used plastic wire splice clip connectors on the Side mirror cameras so we could easily unplug, remove or repair the camera.
Overall, very happy with the investment and performance. I do wish the halo view screen was more user friendly.
The entire system shuts down when headlights are off. Therefore, you must run with lights on to use camera in the way we configured ours, but we do that anyway.
Skills required to install are basic. If you’ve ever spliced a wire, you can do this. Good luck.

Works very well on our 29′ trailer

Picked up on sale, glad I did. Easy to install (make sure you get the adapter bracket and cable for Furrion mounts, if you have one on your RV). Picture quality is great, we get an occasional drop-out when driving but nothing major. I have it tied in to the clearance marker light power and turn my vehicle lights on when towing, which keeps the camera on at all times – handy when in traffic. Installed on our Grand Design Imagine 2600RB (which is 29′ total length), with the display screen mounted in our 2018 Sierra. Highly recommended as a more cost-effective alternative to other cameras.

Used on my 90hp tractor
Reviewed in Australia on January 24, 2022
Installed this unit plus an additional camera onto my 90hp tractor. Well built gear with camera encased in metal housing. I can now see the fork tips from the driver’s seat when using the forklift attachment. Can also see implements attached to the rear without having to constantly look over shoulder. Good field of view without being excessive. Crystal clear picture on the screen. Easy to install and pair the cameras.

Excellent features for the price

Initially I was looking at getting the customer installed camera from Ford for my 2020 F250. It’s super simple to install. The image is hi-def and an excellent field of view. The only fault is the camera mount. It’s too short and the antenna hits the trailer keeping the camera from being adjusted high enough. Haloview has a new mount that is longer that gives the camera a full range of vertical adjustment. It’s only about $12 so order it along with the kit. Rather than mounting the display on the dash permanently with the foam mounting pad, I also ordered a suction cup mount for more mounting location flexibility. I definately recommend this camera and display. If you need more than one camera, this system also allows you to install up to 4 cameras including a designated camera location for parking lot lines.

Very satisfied, res is pretty good 720p like.
No flickering at all! Easy to install. Lens is not too wide, which makes it a great rearview camera (wire it for full time viewing, not just as a back-up). Worth the money, seems very well built and durable.
