I was in the market for a backup/rear view camera for my new travel trailer RV. Since it was prewired and had a mount for a Furrion wireless system I looked at those and they were about 4 times more expensive than this system. I went on to learn that most if not all of the affordable wireless systems have issues with framerates and dropouts at highway speeds and I wanted to be able to see behind my rigg while driving. I did not want issues with the signal so I started looking at wired systems.
I am so glad that I found this Fookoo Ⅱ HD Backup Camera System Kit. The kit came with everything needed to install with the exception of a second cable for the tow vehicle which will allow for disconnecting the RV at the hitch. It is my understanding that if you contact the seller, they will send you a second cable for free. I did not want to wait so I ordered a second cable at time of purchase. The kit comes with several mounting options for the camera including all the hardware you need and a gasket. I decided to mount mine to the bottom of the preinstalled Furrion mount and this seems to work great. I ran the cable along the black trim of my siding by drilling small holes in the edge of the trim and using zip ties to secure the cable. It is virtually invisible to the untrained eye. I ran the cable along the bottom frame of the RV up to the tongue using zip ties as needed. Be aware that the connector from the camera to the cable is not waterproof and does not have an O'ring. I filled mine with dielectric grease to prevent corrosion issues.
I installed the shorter cable on my F-150 starting at the bumper and used zip ties to secure the cable forward to the cab and entered thru an existing rubber grommet. Hookup of the provided monitor cable was a breeze as I was able to pull out the radio and had access to the ground and switched 12V power source from the radio cables. I spliced into the radio harness easy peasy.
The monitor comes with several mounting options including all the hardware and brackets you might need. I decided to use the provide suction cup mount that came with the monitor and attach the monitor to my windshield. I did not want to drill holes in the dash or to use double sided tape. This provided the best viewing angle and reduced and blind spot created by the monitor.
As you can see in the attached pics, the monitor is high resolution and bright! It is smart and remembers what state it was in when you turn off the ignition and it will return to that state when you start back up. Sorry for the lack of a better image as the RV is backed against my garage door and there is not much to see at the moment.
If I had any complaints it would be that there are no dust/weather caps provided for the cable ends that are exposed at the tongue/bumper when the RV is not connected. I found some rubbler caps and filled the ends of the cables with dielectric grease to help prevent issues with corrosion.
I gave 5 stars for everything but ease of install. This is not as easy as a wireles system because the cables have to be properly installed and I had to get into the guts of the dash of my truck. Still easily doable if you are the least bit handy with tools and working of vehicles.
Time will tell how durable this system is and I will update my review when I have some time and miles on the system.

Possibly the best wired backup/rear view camera for an RV on the market!

Overall a great camera system. Easy to install and good instructions. Just a reminder there is no night vision on this, but it shouldnt be necessary with backup lights. Overall I am pleased with the camera. Using this in a skid steer

FooKoo II HD backup camera system installed on a Mahindra 1526 tractor.
Due to neck and shoulder injuries I have a problem turning my head back in order to see what is going on behind my tractor when reversing or pulling 3 point implements. Raking and box blading especially require a lot of time spent looking backwards when driving forward. As a consequence of this limited movement, over the years I have managed to damage implements by backing into trees or stumps and have destroyed several fruit and ornamental trees by running into them because I was looking backwards.
I really needed something other than mirrors to fix this problem so decided that a rear view video system could be the answer so went ahead and ordered the FooKoo II HD backup camera system.
The decision to buy this system over the many other systems available was based on the multitude of positive reviews of the equipment and, just as important, the positive reviews of the sellers customer support. I made the right decision and experience has shown that Fookoo customer support is indeed exceptional.
Before I had received the unit I thought that I needed a shorter 15’ cable to hook up the camera so contacted Fookoo and got a quick response from Angela who told me that cable was out of stock but would send me one when available or, if I needed it in a hurry she would buy one on Amazon and send it free of charge. I told her that I could wait but she had already gone ahead and the cable was in the mail to me. It turned out that I didn’t need any extension cable to install the unit as the provided power/video cable was long enough to do the job.
The unit arrived well packaged and contained everything needed for a variety of installation possibilities including 3 monitor mount brackets, stainless steel fasteners and even a small screwdriver and allen wrench.
Installation of the monitor and camera was easy but it took some time for me to access the ignition switch and run wire for the 12 volt power supply.
So far I am very impressed with the quality of the hardware and the clarity of the HD monitor. It will take me a while to get used to the focal distances of what I am seeing on the screen but that will come with experience. This thing has already saved me a world of pain and anything within striking distance is now a whole lot safer… lol
I will soon be installing a second (free of charge) camera mounted lower down to give me a close up of the lift arms and hitch pins etc. which will aid me when connecting up to implements.
Update. I have received and installed the second camera and am very happy with the results. From this lower mount position I get much better view of what is happening INSIDE the implement rather than just a view from the top and behind.
Last three pics show the camera mount, a view of the monitor and a close up of that shot.
