I've had my router for almost ten years, so when it broke, I wasn't sure what to get because I'm not really into technology. We struggle without being able to use our Internet at home, so when I searched online for one that resembled the old one, I chose this one. It had a money-back guarantee and a six-month warranty, which provided me the peace of mind when purchasing it.

This 4G wifi router includes a sim card slot and a broad range reach which are vital for my 5,000 square foot home. The router, the internet cable, the power cord, and the instructions for setting it up are all included.

Although it can be used at home, a sim card is required if you want to use it when you're on the move. This device becomes portable and usable everywhere by using a card from any cell phone operator. But while I'm at home, I use an Ethernet wire to connect.

Three easy steps are all that are required to set up and use this router. In order to offer a greater transmission range and better signal quality, it has two external cellular antennas. Overall, I think the design is good and the interface is simple. Additionally, it is fairly priced, well-made, and completes the task at hand. We can now again access the Internet everywhere in our home.

I recently purchased the Firstnum CPE C1 WiFi Router hoping for a convenient solution for on-the-go internet connectivity through the SIM card slot feature. Unfortunately, the device fell short of my expectations.

To start with, the primary reason for my purchase was to utilize the 4G LET CAT4 capability, which promises up to 150 Mbps. I tried multiple SIM cards from different carriers such as Simple Mobile, Lyca, Ultra, and T-Mobile. Regrettably, none of them worked with the device. It's a significant letdown considering that this feature was the main selling point for me.

On the brighter side, the device did function as a regular WiFi router. However, that wasn't what I was looking for. I could've opted for numerous other routers at potentially a lower price point if I only needed regular WiFi functionality.

Moreover, to add to my disappointment, the return window had closed by the time I fully tested the product. Now I'm left with a router that doesn't fulfill its primary promise.

To anyone considering this router for its SIM card slot feature, please proceed with caution. The regular WiFi functionality is there, but if you're looking for a reliable 4G router, this might not be the best pick.

I had been looking for a LTE router for a bit for my RV. Taking the kids camping can be a bear sometimes when the weather turns south and we're stuck inside for hours at a time with no internet on their devices.

The CPE C1 came in clutch. Not only was I able to create a mobile hotspot during drives to campsites, but then, as long as we had cell service, the kids had internet on their devices now.

The product came in a secure package, lots of foam packaging on the inside to keep the router and it's power supply from moving around or being damaged in shipping. The setup was a breeze, taking less than five minutes once I had it situated where I wanted it and had the SIM inserted. Getting other devices connected worked without a hitch, no connection issues or difficulties to be had despite the variety of devices we travel with.

The speeds matched up to what was advertised on the product page, as well as to what my phone was getting from it's LTE signal. There was minimal slowdown once we got all of our non-mobile devices connected despite having multiple people streaming videos and movies at the same time. No packet loss, no weakening of signal, and stable power consumption the entire time.

It's relatively small profile allowed me to mount it in an unobtrusive spot in the RV, run ethernet to the other mounted devices (such as our TVs), and have a great solution to all our needs.

I bought this to use when my wife and I go travel camping, as campground wifi is usually abysmal. I tried to get this to work on my T Mobile plan, but after talking with some people that know a lot more than I do about this stuff, I found out that my plan wouldn't allow it. I'm grandfathered into the 55+ plan, which still provides data at only 3g speed. This unit needs at least 4g, so it wouldn't work. I think the unit was a great value for the price, so if I decide to update my plan, I'd probably re-order it.

I will be returning this item. It is beyond slow and hardly works even when hard wired to a computer. Constantly disconnects from devices. Remember you get what you pay for.

I was happy with it while it worked. It died in less than a year, so I’m not happy with now.

I have not had a problem with this router. I use the WiFi for managing some out of band devices at my house. I use the Ethernet to hand off to my PFsense firewall. So far this is great! I have not had to reboot the device in 6 months. I love the stability of this platform. It gets a great signal from my cell carrier (Tello which is a T-Mobile MVNO).
