Practicing in the empty school parking lot was a lot more helpful. When I’m getting ready to park, the last thing I want to do is also stress about trying to get the app to connect to the camera.
Used it once and it was choppy — would freeze then catch up. Maybe if I had more patience, I’d get out and get it to connect then park. I’m sure people waiting to pass would love that.
I’m going to save up and get a Garmin.

Back to 4 stars based on receiving a replacement unit. I am thankful to the company for providing a quick replacement once I voiced a concern. I'll remount this new one and report back if any issues. Initial testing seems to show a greater range but the real test is when it is back on the trailer.

Reducing from 4 to 2 stars based on being asked to provide a photo of the cam with water. Sorry. More concerned with drying out than taking a photo. Again. Showed promise and would love to try a replacement.

What follows is as initially rated:
Not the greatest wifi range but was working when backing up with a small 18ft trailer. Would lose signal when moving at highway speeds. It was meeting my needs. It was not working today so provided the following to product support. I will update when I get a response.

'Have only had the camera mounted for under 3 months. It is not IP67 waterproof as provided in the description. When troubleshooting why not working today, verified power was getting to the camera and still not transmitting any wireless. I loosened the 4 back screws (have never done this before) and water rushed out. Could you provide me a new one please.

Absolutely worth the money. The only thing that I would change is adding some type of sunshade to minimize glare. Simple enough to add or build one. I was definitely hesitant to buy without any reviews whatsoever I’m definitely pleased with the purchase I have tried it beyond 100ft away and it still streamed a signal for the price why bother with more expensive cameras. I don’t need night vision to catch a thief just a back up camera that gets it done and it does it well highly recommend

Won't connect unless you are right next to the camera. Forget about it working in the tow rig...it won't even connect standing at the front of my small 20ft camper. It'll work if you have a 5ft camper lol
