This is a pretty nice device to have for a rv trailers, big truck, or van. You could technically use it to view outside as well if you are staying in your RV. It would be a bit of an overkill for a car if you happen to want to use it for that. There are NO cables for the camera so that makes this super easy to install. The monitor though does have to be plugged in though. You can attach this to your dash or such. It can be used when you are backing up and such. The screen on this device is just your standard 7 inch which is pretty standard. You only get one camera to use and it is battery powered. It can be charged via solar panel just be aware that it does need to be recharged. The nice thing is that you do not need any screws or such. It is a pretty strong magnet but not strong where it could scratch the area when removing it. It works well in daylight or night time which is great. The main cable is integrated into the monitor so if you happen to break that it is extremely difficult to replace. Regardless, the cable itself is pretty thick and durable so I do not see that being an issue. Again you do have to screw anything in when it comes to the camera. You do however need to install the monitor though. I did not have to do any pairing to the camera when I got this. It does not have wifi capability from what I can tell. It just syncs together. Again this product does come with all the wiring you will need to hook this device up. The main wire is okay length and durable. I had a chance to test it in rain weather and the camera can be blocked from the water hitting it and drips down. I would recommend just making sure the solar panel is in direct sunlight. It is able to get a good amount of energy for a full day of power. You are able to charge it separately if needed. The camera is actually really nice to have to ensure you get the best view when backing up or just during the night when you need to view outside the RV. The screen control is fairly straight forward to use. It is not a touchscreen so be aware of that. All the controls are in the front. Note that this does have a suction cup holder. It holds but the screen is not exactly light. It comes pre installed with 64 gb card. You are able to record with the camera which is nice. It records in a loop so it'll override any old footage. Overall this is a great product for big trucks, home vans, and RV trailers. It does not require any kind of drill into your vehicle and such in order to place the camera. The wires are very durable and gives you plenty of length. The picture quality is amazing and works in day or night. The only problem I have is that the screen cable is integrated so it becomes harder to replace if it burns out.

I am impressed with the DVKNM wireless backup camera and its array of cool features. I bought this backup camera for my camper and pickup. I had purchased another camera that didn't work well at all and decided to try this one instead. I liked the fact that no wiring was involved and that you could easily move the camera from vehicle to vehicle. The camper isn't a daily driver after all.

The first thing I did was mount the extended antennas to the monitor and camera. I placed the camera on the back bumper of my 26' camper and pulled the truck up as if I was pulling it. The signal was very strong and no problem reaching the monitor. The back bumper of the camper is not a good spot for the camera as it is too small an area and too low. There is no other steel to attach to but I plan on attaching a steel plate to the roof. and setting the camera on it. And boy oh boy are those magnets strong! On steel you won't have to worry about it coming off at all Besides, the higher the camera the bigger the view. I did not hook up the camper and take it on the road so I can't review how it performs at highway speeds. Its dead winter here and I'm not pulling it out just to test that. I will amend my review if it has traveling issues.

I haven't had it out on a pitch black night to see how well the night vision is but at dusk the camera picture was much brighter than what my eye was seeing. I expect it to be ok but obviously not as good as daytime.

I wanted to attach the camera to the tailgate of my 2022 RAM 1500 when it wasn't needed for the camper but was unable to. I hadn't realized that my tailgate was aluminum to save weight. The magnet had no effect on it. Instead, I stuck it to top of the cab and it sits there nicely secure. The resulting high perch gives a great wide view to the rear. If I get hit from behind I'll have the evidence on the SD card that was included (64GB).

And don't think these are the only uses! I bought a 110V to 12VDC Power Outlet for $20 so I can plug the monitor in to my house voltage and we can watch the wildlife outside and it can also act as a home security camera by putting it up on my steel roof. It has 4 little blue lights on the front to let you know it's on so it gives itself away but that's easily fixed by putting a little piece of black electrical tape over them lol. You can also use it that way at the campground. Remember, as long as the monitor is on it will be recording so you can either see intruders live or on the card. The card records in 1 minute segments so be sure to set the date/time on the monitor. Since no power source or wires are needed you can literally put it anywhere! The camera has a solar panel on top and is supposed to stay fully charged during the day and have enough power to carry it through the night. You can also charge it with the USB C adapter included.

One more unexpected perk! They give you one free accessory when it arrives. You can pick from 4 accessories. I chose a 2nd camera so I can put them on top of the cab facing forward and rear facing so I'm covered both ways.

Overall, I think this camera will fit my needs superbly. It's built well and the picture is very clear. Love love love the portability and wireless install. So far I'm very pleased.
