I mounted the camera on the rear of my van, right above the door opening. I decided to run the wire to the fuse box so that I could have the camera running once I turned it on. The picture quality is very good but the video feed can be a little choppy while I am driving but still works well. Mainly got it for reversing out of my driveway and parking lots. Exceeds my expectations. Going to get a second camera for my dash. Great product!

Easy to install, great video quality and strong signal- what else you need?

I got this camera because I was not happy with a few things on the wireless camera system I purchased before, and while this one cost more, the difference is well worth it. It use it on my Class C RV.
The cheaper system was difficult to install, video quality was poor (looked black and white), and had weak signal strength resulting in the video feed sporadically cutting out....and it just felt like it was made cheap.
To my great surprise, this unit was opposite!

In addition it is able to record video on a 32gb SD card (included) at the touch of a button. It comes with 2 different monitor mounting brakes and a third option (suction cup) can be requested. Comes with everything you need for basic installation, including 2 quick splice connectors and all necessary screws.
Navigating the menu items on the monitor takes a short time to get the hang of it...but once you understand it you can access a variety to features.
The image quality is what really impressed me the most. I included some photos from when I first tested the unit before final installation.
I did a short experiment on the signal strength since I had the ability to power the camera from my home. I then drive my vehicle down the street and measured where I lost the signal. Now I realize this is not "real world" applicable because there were no obstructions between the transmitter and receiver...but none the less, the signal strength proved its power. I was impressed when I drove 1500 feet before loosing signal! That's .3 miles.
In addition, while it is not written in the products description of items that it includes...it also comes with an additional extra long antenna with a 12 ft. cord and a magnetic base for even an even stronger signal. I did the above experiment WITHOUT the longer antenna.
The night vision worked great and it seems the ability to hook up an second camera would be easy. One can then toggle between each camera or view them both on a split screen.
An additional surprise for me was the great customer support which was very responsive and easy to communicate with. They answered all my questions and sent me out the suction cup attachment at no extra cost. I find this level of customer care rare for some of these electronics sold here...but these guys are an exception.
So Im super happy with this purchase to say the least. Oh, and the instructions are easy to read and uses clear colored images.
Other than the small learning curve on navigating the menus...it's a great camera with lots of features and solid construction. Highly recommended to anyone with a larger rig, RV, trailer or motorhome.

THIS IS AN UPDATE REVIEW. THIS SELLER IS OUTSTANDING. I HAD DIFFICULTY WITH ONE CAMERA AND IT WAS IMMEDIATELY REPLACED. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS FANTASTIC. THE SELLER REPLIED TO MY EMAIL WITHIN A FEW HOURS AND OFFERED PERFECT SOLUTIONS. I AM EXTREMELY SATISFIED. BELOW IS THE REVIEW I SENT PREVIOUSLY. Love the system. It works exceptionally well in daylight and night time, providing clear images with the right perspective that make backing up safe and ease. The mounting kit provide with the system makes mounting easy. However, I will share why did not need to use the provided mounting kit due to my unique situation. This will demonstrate how the camera system can be mounted to your special preference or need. I installed the system with my 2021 Honda Odyssey towing a 2021 nuCamp320s travel trailer. In addition to the camera system, I needed to also mount my cell phone on a 12" gooseneck cup mount (from Amazon) to operate the trailer's electric brake controller. Also, the trailer has a tear drop design and a tubular bar structure in the rear. I mounted the camera to the rear bar structure using bar clamps (from Amazon) usually used for RV/Truck LED lights. I connected it to the lights wire for power so that I could turn the camera on and off by turning the lights on and off day or night, thereby preserving battery when not in use. It also allows me to see what's going on behind me even when I'm not backing up. I preferred using a CD slot mount (Amazon) to mount the monitor. I modified the CD slot mount to extend away from the dash because the CD on my van is set back under the dash's overhang. This set up works perfectly and allows me to have the trailer brake system control and rear camera system in perfect positions. It's a wonderful, well-priced camera system.

Overall great camera.
I gave it 5 stars because it works very well.
But I would have given 4.5 stars because the model I received does not match what is shown here.
Also it says that it has a 170 degrees angle of view, but that is diagonal.
Horizontal, it is 120 degrees - see pictures
Very well build, metal and heavy.
It was attached to the back of my 26 feet trailer and I was pulling it with a pickup.
On the highway, I had no signal interruption during my 2 hour drive.
Very nice that they offer a second camera free.
Switching between camera is very easy.
I used it to hook up. (see picture) Note that I kept the protective film on that second camera.
Picture is very clear even on a sunny day. That sun shade is a very good idea.
You cannot see your rear bumber and see far on the highway at the same time.
You have to pick what you want to see when you install the camera.
I tilted mine up to see further while driving. It is what I needed the most.
I put the protective 3M tape on the monitor bracket, but did not stick it to the dash
I jsut use it for protection and instead use the windshield mount.
It did not move during the trip.

Arrived within 5 days of ordering! I bought this to mount on the back of my fifth wheel trailer so I can see my boat or my motorcycle depending what we are dragging behind us. The instructions seemed confusing at first but that was only due to poor translation. Reading them through a couple of times made it clear and the link to the install video really helped. Install of the camera on the trailer was very easy and putting the display in my truck took all of two minutes. As soon as the camera and the display were powered on the image came up - no complex pairing required. The picture I have attached is with the display installed in my truck with the suction cup mount. The truck is in my garage and the trailer is 20 feet to the side of the garage and 30 get behind the garage. So excellent quality picture from that distance and transmitting through an insane garage wall. Great product.

I have tested the wireless backup camera on my truck camper and love the image quality. The day time colour image is accurate a high quality HD. What impressed me the most is the excellent night time picture... I can see everything clearly, even in complete darkness!
Also, one of the main reasons I purchased this unit was the ability to record video. I am very pleased with the easy record function and the playback feature. I use a 128gb memory card with no problem.
So, yes, the system is working with one camera very well now. I am looking forward to trying it with 4 cameras as soon as I can get my hands on them 🙂
