SylvanSport is jumping into the growing overlanding RV market. The Brevard, North Carolina-based manufacturer is known for adventure travel trailers, pop-up campers, rooftop tents, and outdoor gear. The SylvanSport GO All-Terrain (GOAT) marks the company’s first off-road camping trailer.
Crafted with a custom extruded aluminum frame, the GOAT blends the optimal balance between strength and lightweight trailer. The optional articulated hitch, low center of gravity, 18-inch ground clearance, and 40-degree-plus departure angle makes it capable on most any terrain, both on- and off-road.
The SylvanSport GOAT’s design helps it easily transform from a low-profile gear hauler that expands to a toy hauler for dirt bikes and gear to a compact travel trailer offering 6 feet, 5 inches of headroom.
The GOAT’s 1,200-pound dry weight makes it towable by smaller vehicles. Construction highlights also include rugged features like a 4-by-7-foot diamond-plated deck, LED running lights, Falken Wildpeak tires, and Timbren axles. The impressive interior space offers sleeping accommodations for up to four adults and two pets. The off-road trailer has a 950 pound cargo carrying capacity rating.
Available options packages (there are two in addition to the base model) offer the ability to add everything from a tent awning to curtains to a gazebo screen room. Additional must-have options include a GO Solar Kit, spare tire and rack, Yakima road shower, portable toilet, and camp kitchen.
MSRP runs from $19,995–$21,995.
Plans to offer additional accessories including a swing-out tailgate and drop-down kitchen, roof rack, and propane cylinder mount are already in the works.
