This was easy to install, though directions could be better. Camera picture quality is great, works well at night time. Very nice!

This thing is perfect I put it below my third brake light on my pickup to see my box and it is so versatile and so adjustable and the image is so high quality high def You can see the front corners of the box even on the truck all the way back to complete cargo everything and high enough to see anything you’re towing on top of that two other than a 6 ft high trailer etc. The installation is easy because they give you all the hardware everything you’ll need other than your own little wrench but it also comes with the hex wrench to adjust the viewing angles You just really don’t need anything else and the performance is second to none You can use this camera for a backup camera side camera or a front camera or like I did I made my own use for it as a box camera below my third brake light on my Chevy Silverado I’m just telling you this is a really good camera.

Updating my review… while I initially had some issues with video quality, customer service reached out quickly and sent a complete new camera, cabling, etc. Im very happy they stand behind their product, and they ensured that I was satisfied. This camera is working better, and based on their customer service I would rate this product as very good value. I have been thru multiple rain storms, and washes as of now, and yet there is no water intrusion. Feels like a quality producct.

I bought this camera specifically for the fact that the wire can be cut to mirror the image. So many cams have the image “reversed” and I didn’t want that. The image quality was fine when I hooked it up in a test before final install in the tailgate, but after running the wires for final install (used same power and ground) after a couple of days the image quality is suffering tremendously. There is like static on screen, lines horizontally, and the camera keeps shifting in its socket even though the set screw is nice and tight. Maybe I got a bad unit, but I’m very disappointed that this is happening just a couple of days later.
The night visions seems to work well, but again, the image has so much static type noise that’s its almost worthless.
I guess it’s time for me to try another camera.

I was able to get support from the company and they assisted me pretty well. Only problem is that the camera won’t angle high enough to work with the guides. Bummer. Great video quality, great build and idea but the one flaw for me

i have had multiple cameras, and i thought my current 4 pin would work(plug & play) but it did not, but they say to only use av cable plugs only not wires spliced etc. tried several different ways and could not get this camera to power up. so it might be i just didnt have the correct wire set up, ot a bad camera, but i couldnt get it working. the camera felt solid and looks nice ( chrome) and you can rotate the camera lens around and remove the back up lines which is why i bought it, compared to my current same styled camera which can not rotate or remove b/u lines, too bad for me

this a great cover for anyone who travels with their pets easy to remove and install.

if you need a replacement camera or a camera for new installation in your car, this one is what you need. works great and installation is super easy.

I ordered two of these.

Box 1: Box appeared new and unopened, all wires were organized and tied, camera was in a protective piece of padded foam. Unfortunately the Allen wrench for adjusting the camera was missing, as was the silicone body mount that was supposed to be included (and critical for my instalation). The heat shrink around the “set wires” which you can cut to change parameters looked to have been removed and re-applied; the set wires were not readily accessible and I could not tell if they had been previously cut.

Box 2: This boxe was taped up with some ripped-off labeling; it appeared to have been a previously returned and then re-packaged item. The camera wasn’t wrapped in foam but loose in the box with untied wires. The RCA cable was clearly of different length and make from what was in the other box. There were no instruction in this box. The cameras “set wires” which you can cut to change the parameters of the camera had all already been cut – confirming this was indeed a previously used unit. (See third image; these came cut, and I stripped and reconnected them for testing purposes)

I have a 12v test bench, and have three other working standard RCA cameras (CVBS), and had two separate RCA-input (CVBS) monitors for testing. I verified test bench and all equipment as working before testing these cameras. Upon connecting both of these cameras, I could get no RCA output signal from either, regardless of how I reconnected the set wires. (One of them if left uncut is to produce a standard CBVS signal on the RCA output; if it is cut, it is to produce an AHD signal on the RCA output). I tested the wiring harnesses of both cameras for connectivity, and they appeared to be good so the cameras themselves were both faulty. One of them would get abnormally warm fairly quickly when connected. At this point though I gave up working with them, planning to return.

Sending a previously-used re-packaged item being represented as a new unused item is unacceptable and poor practice if done intentionally. Even if done accidentally, this along with the inconsistency of the package contents and numerous missing items, is a huge red flag indicating extremely poor quality control. Mistakes can of course be made and it is always a risk that occasionally you’ll receive a new item that is faulty; but to receive both items DOA is yet another red flag. Normally I’d work with customer service on getting issues resolved, but this many misses leads me to believe this isn’t a company or product you can rely on, and I do not want to waste time and miss the amazon return window.
