I've purchased 3 of these set-ups since 2015. The first was from Camping World and all I can say about the unit was, it was over priced and worked when it wanted to, so out the door it went. The second was purchased from a friend of mine and while the quality was good...it just stopped working one day, so in the trash that went.
As you, I was very skeptical about buying such an inexpensive unit compared to others that are offered on the site. I went through the bazillion pages and honestly they all started to look the same after so long but time was ticking down to our leave date and I've become very used to having a camera on the back of the travel trailer for the aided viewpoint. BTW, The travel trailer is 32' long and pulled by a F150 so roughly total length is close to 50 feet. Not once did I lose reception during a 8 hour drive, in fact I didn't lose reception during our14 day trip. Set-up was all of about 2 mins. Picture was clear, almost high def. I was amazed at how many options this unit offers. A person could hook up what appears to be 4 cameras and run them all at the same time and I'm almost positive it has a built-in DVR to record. During a rain storm the picture was great but I did experience headlight glare from the rain off the road in the picture a couple times but nothing to cause irritation. If you can tie your shoes, then you can install the camera where you want. I do want to mention that both the camera and the screen come with dual antennas which I believe helps in keeping the connection between the two.
All in all, for the money you won't be disappointed. It comes with everything you need from install to ease of operation. One thing I would like to mention.. I would have liked the screens buttons be backlit, so when you want to make adjustments you don't have to turn the dome light on and off fumbling around to see what you're doing.
FYI, i only gave the night vision 4 stars because I didn't use it that much during dark situations but I can always update the review.
And lastly, I will post pics when I get around to doing it.
Would I buy this again or recommend it to someone.....ABSOLUTELY.

2021 Rockwood 2606WS - Easy to install. Only took about 15 minutes total. The factory Rockwood mount has a kind of sunshade or shroud (standard "Furrion" mount pre-installed). The shade prevented me from mounting the two camera antennae, so I figured I'd just try it and if the signal couldn't reach the monitor in my F-150, I would return the unit. The signal was so strong, I didn't need them! The picture is clear and works very well EVEN while driving @ 60 mph. The image shows a full 30' from the bumper rearward, and has a nice field of view side to side. Yes, this product is working well for me, and I have recommended it to friends as well.

I direct wired the camera in the back of my horse trailer so I could keep an eye on them over long hauls. This was the trickiest part of the set up, as I had to find a full time hot wire. (VERY easy to do!) The rest of my set up consisted of plugging the monitor into my cigarette lighter. That's it! It worked right off the bat, without issue!! I took 5 horses on an elk hunt, 14 hours to Colorado, rode rough dirt mountain roads for over a week, then 14 hours back home. I had ZERO issues. My truck is a GMC Sierra and I had 5 horses in my 4 Star horse trailer. The camera was all the way in the back of the trailer. The photos are both daytime and night vision. The night vision photo is with NO lights at all. All works perfectly!! At such a great, resonable price for a quality product, I'll be buying another for a friend for Christmas!

Easy install, used it in my horse trailer to keep an eye on them going down the road.

Surprised at how well this works, clear the picture is and how easy it was to install.

Unit fit into the existing Furrion base perfectly on my 5th wheel camper. My camper is 36 feet long and I had some serious doubts about the range claimed, but it had a strong signal and clear picture, with no noticeable video lag. The instruction pamphlet sucks and is barely in Spanglish - but you'll figure out the set up eventually.

Used this camera inside of my horse trailer. Directions say to wire to the tail light/ brake light. Did just that and found out the hard way that it only turns on with application of the brakes.. tried rewiring it to multiple other locations and nothing worked, brought the camera to my truck and the camera no longer works at all. Super disappointed that there’s nothing else to do, I really hoped it would work out!

This camera worked to professional for my recent camping trip. I installed it on the rear of my RV trailer and there wasn't any video lag. The price was great for this camera and I recommended to my friend and he ordered one the same day from this seller. I definitely recommend this seller for future orders!
