The Squire travel trailer is galloping on to the RV scene. In a nod to the company’s storied past, Lance Campers—originally dubbed “Lancer” with a logo depicting a jousting knight—is rolling out the lightweight as a budget-friendly option.

A press release from Lance says the new Squire travel trailer boasts all the manufacturing advances and construction innovations you’d expect from the the truck-camper and travel-trailer builder. SolidWorks CAD design and CNC laser-guided cutting machines ensure a near-zero tolerance for component fit to increase structural integrity. There’s also dual-layer Azdel, plus fully bonded and laminated floor, walls, and ceiling.

The first Squire travel trailer floorplan, the SQ19, weighs less than 4,500 pounds dry and is under 24 feet. That makes it towable by most mid-size pickups or SUVs. The SQ19 features a popular couple’s coach layout with a walk-around queen bed. The large u-shape dinette is housed in the trailer’s only slideout. Other highlights include a corner bath, three-burner cook top, microwave, and plenty of storage.

A custom-built steel chassis and Goodyear radial tires provide the Squire’s foundation. LED lighting is used throughout. The trailer is pre-wired for solar and lithium house batteries. Options include an electric awning, a 24-inch smart TV, keyless entry, and 400-watt solar panels. There is also an all-season weather package.
