I needed to extend my WiFi from my house out to my detached garage to run Kasa Smart plugs. This WiFi extender was super easy to setup and it really works. My WiFi signal is very strong in my garage and has allowed me to use Smart plugs where I couldn’t before. A definite signal improvement and worthy purchase.

The reason I purchased the wifi extender was because the internet signal was weak — to the point that videos would freeze, or take a long time (with many refreshes) to connect in rooms that were far from the router and printer would drop off the network after about 20 minutes. The printer could connect to the network on start up, but once it lost connection, a restart (or multiple restarts) was always required. The Macard wifi extender did not have a large price tag, came with free returns, so I purchased it to see if it would correct my wifi connection issues. It did. Plus, it was amazingly simple to set up. The printer stays connected and I have a strong internet signal in every room. No more freezing or refreshing. Definitely recommend it. FYI, I did not rate the Tech Support as I did not use them and N/A was not a choice.

This gives me a better range than the other 2 WiFi extenders I am using. Very satisfied! Came with very detailed instructions which I found to be very helpful!

I recently purchased the Macard 1.2Gbps WiFi Extender Booster, and I am absolutely thrilled with its performance. This little device has single-handedly transformed my home network experience for the better!

So far so good ….. Product was fairly easy to setup and the extended Wi-Fi signal appears to be strong although I haven’t checked the farthest reaches outside in my yard due to weather conditions (rain). I live in a typical subdivision with a typical size yard.
I had initial trouble with the QR code as the internet reference page locked, but I opened another window and typed in the numerical sequence in the information packet and followed the instructions and everything is good. I would advise to plug the unit into an outlet where your Wi-Fi box is located so you get maximum interface with the extender when setting the unit up. You can then move the Wi-Fi extender to whatever area you want, and it will reconnect. I would have given it another half star or more, but I haven’t been able to experience how the unit holds up and the extent of its range. Overall, I am fairly happy with the unit at this time.

I ordered a different wifi extender from this seller and after repeated attempts it failed to connect to my home network. So I did what they suggested on the insert provided with the extender — I contacted customer service. In a very pleasant online chat the rep explained to me my mistake. I bought the previous model based on reviews and price but I didn’t really understand certain technical aspects. The model I bought only worked with 2.4 Ghz wifi and my home network is not figured for 2.4 Ghz.

Now here’s the outstanding part. They immediately expedited my refund and told me to donate the extender to a good charity rather than bothering to return it. I was credited the next day. They pointed me to another one of their models (this product) that would work with my wifi for just a few dollars more. I ordered it and it arrived on time. The setup was very easy and it’s been working very well and as expected for about a week.

Bought two for house and garage to connect the garage controller that connects to our Tesla. The connection status of the connection to our wireless router could be stronger. They have fallen off the network a few times and needed to be rebooted. I named the wireless networks the same as our indoor router to enable any of our devices to switch seamlessly to the strongest signal. This extender has improved the connect-ability of our smart devices in the back part of the house. Super easy set up and provide a wider wireless coverage then the single router.
