Imagine cruising down the highway, music blasting from a great stereo, singing along with your co-pilot, and every possible luxury at your fingertips. The design of the 2024 Thor Aria makes it seem as though Thor’s engineers had the same thing in mind. Thor put every conceivable luxury into this diesel pusher to make it the ultimate road trip machine. If you love to get out and enjoy the outdoors, without denying yourself most of the comforts of home, the 2024 Thor Aria has you covered.
The diesel pusher is built on a sturdy and dependable Freightliner XC chassis. The chassis is known for its I-beam construction that creates a strong foundation for a luxury coach. The Air-Ride suspension and Sachs® shock absorbers allow it to glide seamlessly over bumps in the road.
Great road trip experiences start behind the wheel. Drivers will love the cockpit in the Thor Aria. It’s comfortable and well laid out, with clean lines. Everything is easy-to-find and close at hand. There are also thoughtful features like adjustable armrests, adjustable lumbar support, and heated mirrors to ensure driver comfort. Added safety features like an electronic tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) let you enjoy the journey, too.
Three Great Floorplans
Each Thor Aria floorplan features a true king bed in the master suite that tilts so you can watch TV in comfort. When it’s time to sleep, simply press a button to recline into a comfortable bed. You’ll also find lots of storage in the master bedroom as well as a stacking washer and dryer in select models.
Thor offers the Aria in three floorplans from 34′ 9″–41′ 1″ in length. Each floorplan is carefully thought out with a specific type of RVer in mind. For example, the smallest of the three floorplans, the 3401 which sleeps four, is designed with couples in mind.
The decor in the Thor Aria is beautifully minimalistic with clean modern lines and durable, easy-to-clean finishes. The cabinets are a subdued gray-brown; think darkened driftwood and you wouldn’t be far off.
All floorplans feature a spacious kitchen with oodles of storage, featuring pull-out pantries and a nice storage box beneath the sink to keep everything organized. Cabinets and drawers are big enough to handle the necessities and then some. Thor has done away with the propane cooktop in favor of an energy-efficient induction cooktop.
But that’s not all: Each floorplan also has a huge 52-inch TV across from comfy theater seating in the living area. Overnighting grandchildren will also love the tucked-away drop-down bunk above the cockpit.
Loads of Storage
The storage capacity of the Aria is impressive. Plenty of cabinets inside and outside allow you to bring whatever you need. Plus, tank capacities are generous to keep you well-supplied wherever you go.
- Fuel cap: 100 gal
- Propane cap: 25 gal
- Fresh-water cap: 91 gal
- Black-water cap: 51 gal
- Gray-water cap: 51 gal
Unique Features
While all three 2024 Thor Aria floorplans share common features, they each have some unique features, too. Here’s what each floorplan gets:
3401
The Thor Aria 3401 is the smallest of the Aria lineup. At 34′ 9″ it’s a perfect size for one or two travelers. The 3401 has two TVs in the living area: one in the overhead cabinets above the cockpit, and one above the dinette. If you need more TV options, there’s a 40-inch exterior TV and, of course, one in the master bedroom.
The 3401 has a really well-laid-out kitchen with plenty of cupboard space and a pull-out pantry. And Thor definitely paid attention to the bathroom: This compact floorplan has a surprisingly spacious bathroom with a full-size shower.
In the basement, you’ll find 125 cubic feet of storage for your RVing necessities.
The MSRP for the 3401 begins at $407,850.
3901
The Thor Aria 3901 is designed for couples who desire luxury and space. However, it can sleep up to six people, so it would be a great choice for families, too. At 39′ 11″ in length, it offers more space than its smaller sibling. But it also has some additional features that make it a perfect choice for couples who want a little more luxury than offered by the more compact 3401.
Thor knows that kitchens and bathrooms sell RVs. So they made the 3901 with a really well-laid-out kitchen that includes two pantries plus a pullout peninsula that gives you extra counterspace with deep storage underneath.
And Thor didn’t neglect attention to detail in either of the 3901’s two bathrooms (yes, there are two). The amidships lav is a powder room with a toilet and a single sink and lots of cabinet storage. The impressive rear master bathroom has his-and-her sinks, a spacious shower, and loads of cabinets, including a linen closet and a pull-out so you can easily reach the items you need.
Back in the living room, the 3901 has a beautiful electric fireplace above the entertainment center next to the dinette. The TV above the cockpit is replaced by additional storage, but there is an expansive 52-inch TV across from two comfy theater seats that are perfectly situated for watching the game or enjoying the latest streaming offering.
The 3901 has 215 cubic feet of basement storage, so you can bring everything you need to have an epic road trip.
The MSRP for the Aria 3901 starts at $431,850.
Thor Aria 4000
The Thor Aria 4000 is a bunkhouse model that boasts sleeping for up to eight people, so it’s a perfect size for families with older children or teens who may want to bring along a friend on their adventures. At 41′ 1″ in length, it’s not a lot longer than the 3901, but it has some distinct advantages for families in its use of space.
Instead of theater seats, the 4000 has a tri-fold sofa that adds sleeping space. There is a big 52-inch TV across from it, above the dream dinette. You’ll find a smaller TV above the cockpit as well as a drop-down overhead bunk.
The kitchen is the right size for a big family. It has two pullout pantries and also has an extendible counter to provide extra space for cooking big meals. A stacking washer and dryer in the kitchen area helps make washing and drying clothes for a large family a breeze.
The twin bunks across from the main bathroom have barn-style doors that allow for a private space with access to both the full bathroom and the pull-out pantry.
The master bedroom is very much like that of the other models of the Thor Aria. However, not having the washer and dryer there allows for additional wardrobe space. You’ll also find a separate linen cabinet, double sinks and a roomy shower in the master bathroom at the rear.
The 4000 features 245 cubic feet of basement storage.
The MSRP for the 4000 is $431,850.
