Step 1
When connecting for the first time, the WiFi extender must be placed near the router for installation, which is conducive to improving the installation efficiency. After the installation is completed, the WiFi extender is provided with memory function, which does not need to be installed next time, but is plug and play.
Step 2
Open the TUYA APP to connect. For the first pairing, you must connect to the WiFi in the 2.4G band of the main router; After successful connection, you can reconnect your phone to the Wi Fi of the repeater and enter the network configuration process.
Step 3
After the network configuration is complete, you can check whether the trunk on the homepage of the TUYA app is successfully connected (if the connection fails, it will be displayed as offline). After the connection is successful, you can also click the repeater – the icon in the upper right corner – Device Information – to check the signal strength and determine whether the repeater is properly placed. It is recommended to place the repeater where the signal strength is greater than 40% for better effect.(If the signal strength does not reach the recommended value, please move the repeater closer to the main router.)
Suggestion: It is better to set the same password for 2.4g and 5G bands, so that the Tuya app can display the two bands!
