Can the camera be directly installed on the Sharkfin bracket?
Yes, the BTX7 camera’s base matches the screw holes of the Sharkfin mount on your RV. Simply remove the original Sharkfin and secure the camera in place using the same screw holes.
My vehicle doesn’t have Furrion pre-wiring. Can I still install this camera?
Absolutely! The camera can be connected to Furrion pre-wired systems, but it can also be installed by using the provided power cable, which can be connected to your vehicle’s taillights or marker lights for power.
Can the monitor be powered via USB or Type-C?
Yes, the monitor operates with a 5V input and comes equipped with a Type-C power port. You can easily power the monitor using the included USB-C cable through any USB power source.

Important Note: For stable operation, the rear camera requires a steady 12-24V power source. If your vehicle is a newer GMC, Chevy, or similar model, you may need a Furrion 7-way adapter (sold separately) to ensure consistent voltage. This is due to the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) power signal in these vehicles, which doesn’t supply a constant 12V.
