I am extremely impressed with this item. Let me start by saying the item I received is slightly different from what's in the listing. The package actually came with two chargers and the charger itself not only had the two USB-C ports, but it also included a USB-A as well. I installed both of them in my RV. Using a USB power meter, I was able to confirm that they do indeed supply the advertised 30 watts of charge output(on USB-C). There is an on/off switch on the face of the unit which powers it up and turns on a blue backlight. I would definitely recommend this item. I'm planning to order a few more for additional locations in the RV.

I picked up this 12 volt USB socket to throw in a go box for my ham radio stuff and also as an Yak box and it works just great. I like having a way to hook up my phone and devices and charge them on the go with my go box and not only came to power my trolling motor and also my ham radio equipment and now I can also charge my phone by just popping in one of these bad boys. The package arrived quick and very well packaged and undamaged. Seems to be constructed a really good materials. I like how it's got a little button on there so you can turn it off and cut the power to it that way you're not juicing the battery to run the little teensy-weensy LED light on there but really you can just leave it running because it's probably hardly using up any juice. 100% highly recommend grab one or two or 10 of these and you can't go wrong if you like doing electronic projects like I do. I love these 12 volt connectors and you can put them in pretty much just about anything. You can throw them in a car, install one in your kayak, wired to a direct hook up to your Yak box for a custom looking install, you can install them in your desk, for a custom charging port, or just about anywhere.

The unit I actually recieved had one USB A QC 3.0 port and two USB C ports. I decided to go ahead and install it. There’s no instructions or antyhing ,there’s a QR code to a video on youtube that’s private and unwatchable. So if you don’t know how to wire one of these up and install it on your own you might want to look for other instuctions but these are a simple install either way.

I have a wireless carplay screen that I was trying to run off of this plug, it came with an unmarked USB C cigarrette adapter but I don’t really know how much wattage/amperage it needs. It won’t run off either USB C port but the QC port works fine, but that tells me the output on the USB C ports might be lower than advertised (it should be more than QC 3.0), but again I got a different part than the description.

Either way, the USB A port works for my accessory, I can charge my phone off the USB C ports, good enough for me.

I installed the cig lighter in my care with this charger and it works fast and perfect.

This was an easy install. We had installed a panel with a bank of this size devices years ago. Now that so many devices have converted to the USB-C style, we needed to get up to speed. We were able to remove one of the old plugs and insert this one with minimal effort. Works great and keeps us charged.

Simple installation with a stepper drill and basic wiring. This USB charger charges fast, is weatherproof, and overall is Very well constructed. Nice design, great value!

I installed two of these units in my truck and my only regret is that I hadn't done it years ago. One is ignition controlled the other is wired so it is always on unless I turn it off at the port. The LED face lights up but isn't too bright to cause night driving issues. I had to do a small amount of filing to replace the old 12V DC plug. So far they have worked well and can charge tablets without issues.

Everything I buy lately seems to come with a USB-C cable, but all of the ports on my boat and RV are USB-A. This was the perfect solution. I found it quick and easy to install, and to be of decent quality. The in-line fuse has a nice added safety feature.
