Leaving an honest non sugar coated review with respect to the seller and other customers.

I bought this for a 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The cameras are crystal freaking clear in the daytime (emphasis IS necessary), color night vision has a slight glare from lights at night regardless of camera height.

The Camera mounts require four small holes for mounting screws, two may work but didn't want to risk camera jitter. The power/video wire needs one 5/8" hole in the center of the mount for the wire to be concealed through the body of the vehicle. Used Loctite PL Roof and flashing polyurethane sealant to fill and seal the holes after install. This didn't just seal the hole but increased the stability of the attatchment, the cameras would need to be cut out for removal.

The monitor itself is a sturdy build, though the female ball socket on the back needs improvement. The monitor survived a 2.5 ft fall, but the socket bracket that connects it to the stand broke during normal driving. (Its a 2wd jeep and does not go off-road). I am communicating with the seller to make this product better for everyone.

Takes about 8 hours to install the cameras and run the wires CORRECTLY, do not rush this project. Instructions are minimal, and there needs to be some advisement on the purpose of the 2 red wire leads on the ends of the long extension. I just taped and tucked them away as they did not appear trigger wire related.

Product Suggestions:

1. make the bolt mounting pattern on the back of the mount AMPS compatible so that in the event of accidental breakage your customers can put this system back to use possibly next day with other amazon products.

2. include a 4th standard length extension cable or offer the option to swap the long extension for a standard size one.

3. Enable the monitor to rotate the camera view for the sides of the vehicle, as cameras currently must be mounted in an "up-down" orientation. Or offer "left" and "right" side view cameras which have the lens rotated in the respective direction.

4. (The hard one) Find a way to reduce night time glare or provide an option through the monitor to adjust video brightness, color, sharpness, and the ability to turn night vision on or off. As a certified automotive engineer I will continue to work with the seller to make this product a universal vehicle surveillance system that functions as best as it possibly can.

Every time I turned it on it would shut off after loading.

We haven't used this yet as it will go on our bus we are converting

Not hard to install, looks good . I hope it will last long.
