    Sound quality is better than I had expected. My speaker arrived with the perforated metal grille damaged. This most likely happened during shipping. After testing the speaker’s sound and performance, I decided to keep it. The speaker is hidden from sight between a sun shade and the Sunrider soft top in my Jeep JLUR.Moving forward . . . The speaker is paired with a Uniden Pro 520xl CB radio. With the speaker plugged in, I only need the volume adjusted to 25%, as compared to the 100% before. Now, the incoming sound is crisper…

    Awesome little speaker! I’ve been needing an external speaker ever since I moved my radio into a different vehicle but I’ve been a bit apprehensive when it came to deciding on one. Size and sound quality were both big concerns, but after reading the reviews on this little speaker I decided to pull the trigger.     Bargain speaker with clear, pleasing tone I’m a broadcaster and I’m surrounded by expensive professional audio equipment and I have to say this speaker sounds surprisingly good for the money. I bought two of them based on reviews found here and I wasn’t disappointed.I use one in the car with a Yaesu FT2900 ham radio and the other in my house with a Yaesu FT8900.
