    Very pleasently surprised I am very surprised by the sound from these speakers. They are currently the only speakers working in my 1996 F250 (amp for the rear speakers is on the fritz) so there these are running solo. The sound from them is excellent. The bass is strong and low. Of course not sub woofer strong but impressive for 6.5″ speakers. The bass levels are perfectly acceptable for everyday listening. You won’t win bass competitions but they sound great for their size.     Excellent sound, especially with an amplifier I had these hooked up to my old Scion xB for a while and they sounded fine, a definite improvement over the stock speakers. Eventually, I got around to hooking them up to a 5 channel amp I had that I was using for a subwoofer. It’s not a super powerful amp, but it dramatically woke up the speakers. I used the amp’s crossover to keep the frequency of these speakers over 120hz, and left the low end work to the sub, and I’ve been very happy with the sound.They definitely sound ok just…
