Lights up like a Xmas tree on acid, but great sound! Lately, I seem to spend hours in my car, even though I no longer commute to work, and music is important to me. I upgraded to this head unit when I got tired of hunting for music off my 16GB USB stick and wanted the option of Pandora, even streamed through the AUX jack would be OK. So, a month after I installed this Pioneer unit, I gave up my iPhone 4, and bought a Nexus 5 (Android 5.0) hoping it would just play nicely with it. Nope, doesn’t recognize it by USB but it will charge it safely…

This was fairly simple to install and get working.HOWEVER! It runs Way HOT! I had it out of the dash, connecting up wires and testing before I did the final mounting. Everything was working fine. All I was doing was using the radio. And it is connected to just two 5.5″ speakers. While moving it I accidentally touched the back of the unit, the heat sync(sp?). I burnt my finder on it!! That Mother Was HOT!Should this unit get THAT HOT just listening to the radio?!Now…
