Garmin Drive 60LMT GPS Navigator

Garmin Drive 60 GPS navigator provides driver alerts to encourage safer driving and increase situational awareness. Warnings include alerts for sharp curves, speed changes, railroad crossings and animal crossings. Additionally, Garmin Drive 60 notifies you when driving the wrong way on a one-way street and sends warnings for nearby school zones. Receive alerts for nearby red light and speed cameras, and be prepared for sudden halts in traffic with upcoming traffic jam alerts. For longer drives, a fatigue warning suggests break times and potential rest areas after hours of driving. The Up Ahead feature lets you easily see places up ahead and milestones along your route, without leaving the map view.

FABULOUS GPS UNIT. COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. I LOVE this Garmin. I waited to write this review, until I used it for several trips. I’ve previously owned a Garmin (long time ago), and more recently, a Magellan, that basically died on me. After doing a good deal of research and reading TONS of reviews on Amazon – I opted for this unit. Set-up is effortless. It loads quickly. Downloaded the necessary Garmin info to my computer, so updating it is a breeze. The visual is great. It gives clear, concise directions, with added info like,…

At 100% brightness it was about as bright as the Nuvi 1450 at 40 – 50%…

The strangest thing happened when I started driving–somehow it put me in Olathe Kansas, and I could not get out of demo mode. The message says “start driving to exit demo mode.” I finally got it to…
