    works great. look up the mod to this mic on … The mic gain control dial makes a scratchy noise when moved while the mic is in transmit mode, indicating the potentiometer contacts are defective or dirty. Also, when compared to the OEM Cobra CA-73 microphone, this one has a lower tone, but also seems a bit muffled. Doesn’t sound as realistic.As a side note–and this is for Amazon–I initially put this mechanical flaw description on my returns form, but had to cancel my original return authorization for this item while in the…
