    uniden customer care sucks bought radio was delivered in timely fashion, installed in boat and first time i used it the button on back of microphone that clips in to holder on dash broke off. Very frustrated at this time because it seems that uniden has no customer service.     Great low cost, full feature VHF radio In lieu of buying a hand held radio for my little Boston Whaler 13 Sport, I wanted something with more power for when I am out on Lake Michigan. Given the cost, this seemed to fit the bill for my needs. It’s JIS8 submersible so I don’t have any concerns over this getting wet. Controls are very legible and intuitive. I have this hooked to a Tram 1600-HC VHF antenna. I have not been able to test the transmit functions yet but I pick up the weather channels very well. The speaker is plenty…
