    Carr’s excellent method makes you REALLY understand what “being a smoker” is and how to “stop being a smoker”. Brilliant. The Carr “method” is sort of not a method at all, not as we know it. Carr believes that what you need to do is put smoking in its place. You don’t need “help” or “support”, you don’t need “willpower”. The idea is that smoking just isn’t that important.     I’ve stopped smoking!!!! I read this book with no belief that it would work for me. As far as I was concerned, I was not going to be able to let go of the crutch of smoking, I didn’t even know if I truly wanted to give up smoking yet!It makes so much sense; if you have an open mind and you want to give up, I would read this book and follow the instructions without second guessing the author as you read, I think it is the best stop smoking aid ever!
