    Depending on your car’s trim they are reasonably easy, if time consuming I bought 3 of these for the Mini 0806.     These destroy dashcams! Take a wide berth! 2013 Focus 1.6 Ecoboost. Lost 2x MiVue 618 (would not turn on, just charging light) and a Nextbase 312GW (power cycling, would not record) to two of these kits.As others have said, the device puts out damaging voltage spikes which destroy the camera.     Taught me to read reviews more carefully before buying.Bought this to hardwire an Amacam AM-M81 to a Golf. Worked well for a few weeks then the camera stopped working. Got another camera and that lasted 6 days. Each camera failed with that foul stench of fried electronics.
