This was purchased as a replacement for a previous dash cam, the Nextbase 402G.Unfortunately the Nextbase product has proved unreliable, the well documented battery problems affected my 402G at 20 months old, Nextbase provided me with a replacement battery free of charge, which I fitted, unfortunately the battery problems reoccurred 8 months later.     Failed, when I needed it the most. AVOID. I’ve owned this dash cash for a while now, always thought it was pretty decent, good size, easy to use. However a few nights ago I was involved in a large crash (which will probably see the end of my car, 4 of my 6 airbags were deployed), the cam was thrown off the windscreen.     Think twice !! Just got mine out the box, connected to the pc to charge and for some reason, could always be me but after charging a few hours it still wont run while unplugged so doesnt seem to hold a charge ? Ive used this for a week or so and i find it doesnt always record on its own so dont rely on the auto record thing, double check every time. I wouldnt buy this one again, i feel let down by it and the files dont load on my pc as the files types arent recognised. All in all a pretty fidly and difficult…
