    Bucks the trend for cheap items! Much better radio than I expected, dispite the great reviews. Told my Dad about it, he ordered one next day and he is really impressed, he is a huge HAM fully licenced user! For this money, even if you are on a budget like me you will be impressed.It does require an after market antenna, and benefits hugely from the Slim Jim ones but they are the same price as the handset. You can get a high gain whip antenna for this handset for £3.50 delivered, I did and it worked a charm…
